The Bible answer is: He will send Jesus

When the time comes for the restoration of all things, God will intervene in human affairs by sending Jesus to our world. This is the first phase of the restorative process. Jesus is presently in heaven waiting to return to earth. This will be His Second Coming, since He came the first time as a baby in Bethlehem (Hebrews 9:28).

The Bible answer is: The same way He left

Jesus was taken up from the earth in a way the disciples could see, and He disappeared in the clouds. The Bible says He will return coming down from heaven through the clouds with power and glory (Matthew 24:23-27).

The Bible answer is: Every eye will see Him

Every living inhabitant of our globe will witness the Second Advent. More visible than the moon landing broadcast around the world by satellite, more spectacular than an Olympic closing ceremony, witnessed by millions, Christ’s return preempts and overwhelms every other event on the planet.

The Bible answer is: They will be caught up

Those who died believing in Christ will come forth from their graves and rise up, along with the living believers, to meet Him in the air.

The Bible answer is: To heaven

Jesus is now in heaven, the eternal paradise of God, and longs to have His people with Him. He promised to return and take them home to be where He is.

The Bible answer is: Only God knows

The disciples had often heard Jesus talk about the destruction of Jerusalem, His coming back, and the end of the world. They were troubled by all these strange events and asked Him if there were to be any signs so they could tell when these events would take place, especially when He would come back to this earth (Matthew 24:3).

The Bible answer is: Yes – with false christs

Satan has invented many false teachings about the Second Coming and is deceiving millions into believing that Christ has already come or that He will come in some non-biblical manner. But Christ has warned of Satan’s strategy, saying, Take heed that no man deceive you (Matthew 24:4, 5). He then exposes Satan’s plans and falsehoods so we will be forewarned. For example, Jesus stated specifically that He will not appear in the desert or come to the secret chamber (verse 26). There is no reason to be deceived if we learn what God’s book teaches about Christ’s Second Coming.

The Bible answer is: All the Holy Angels

The appearance of just one angel at Christ’s resurrection prostrated the Roman guards in shock (Matthew 28:2-4). Imagine what it will be like when Jesus returns in all His splendor, surrounded by all the angels.

The Bible answer is: Watch and pray

There is great danger in becoming so busy with the cares of this life that the coming of the Lord may slip upon us as the Flood did on the world in Noah’s day, and we will be surprised, unprepared, and lost. This will be the experience of millions. How is it with you? Jesus is coming back very, very soon – in our present day. Are you ready? Nothing else matters.
